'Unofficial Operation' is a buddy action film about diplomat 'Min-Jun' (Ha Jung-Woo) and local taxi driver 'Pan-Soo' (Joo Ji-Hoon) who left for Lebanon to rescue a missing colleague. The colorful action unfolding in Beirut in 1987 will provide unexpected fun.
From the moment they enter the country, Min-jun, who is chased by the airport security guard, and Pan-soo, who is tempted by the 'tatable' fare, accompany them. The running taxi and the appearance of two people aiming guns that have never been fired from behind an exterior wall predict a risky journey.
From bare body action to wire action using wires, shooting action, and full-axel car chasing action that runs close to the end. The real survival action of being chased, rolling, and running will deliver vividness and exhilarating pleasure.
Director Kim Seong-hoon said, “I wanted to create a rough and thrilling action with humor added at times, with tension as the basic base, not action for action’s sake.” He added, “I tried to push them to the limit with actions that only Min-jun and Pan-soo could do, and to get the maximum value.”
Ha Jung-woo said, “Min-jun is not a special agent, but an ordinary office worker and a foreign ministry employee, so I focused on expressing him in a way that suits him.” there was,” he explained.
Martial arts director Noh Nam-seok said, “We thoroughly simulated all action scenes in advance for safety and perfection, and in Morocco, we conducted preliminary training for about a month with local actors and stunt teams for drift, car chasing, wire and gun action. ”he said.
'Unofficial Operation' will be released on August 2nd.
