Director Na Hong-jin's 'HOPE' Unveils Stunning Stills Ahead of Cannes Film Festival Debut
'HOPE' tells the story of Beom-seok, the head of the Hoport Office located in the Demilitarized Zone, who hears from local youths about a tiger sighting. As the entire village is thrown into a state of emergency, they encounter an unbelievable reality. Following its invitation to the Cannes competition, the film has secured a North American release through distributor NEON.
The stills from 'HOPE' intrigue viewers by showcasing the vivid portrayals of characters facing an incredible reality in Hoport. Beom-seok, armed and taking cover behind a broken wall, Seong-gi making an emergency call, and Seong-ae witnessing something shocking from a police car, all transform into the residents of Hoport fighting to protect their village, capturing attention with new performances by Hwang Jung-min, Jo In-sung, and Jung Ho-yeon.
Director Na Hong-jin's long-awaited project 'HOPE' will have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival this May and is set to hit theaters this summer.
