Producer Lee Sang-min Returns with New Co-ed Idol Group After Clearing Debt

Lee Sang-min, having cleared a debt of 6.9 billion won, is making a comeback as a producer with a new co-ed idol group after 20 years. He offered some sharp advice as a producer.

On the 29th, through the YouTube series '232 Project,' Lee introduced the second member and announced the start of rigorous training. '232 Project' is a reality show where Lee, who once dominated the music scene, aims to make a comeback as a producer after overcoming tough times and clearing his debts.

Lee revealed that Lia Kim from 1MILLION would join as the first dance instructor, raising expectations. Before the training began, Lee had a candid conversation with the first member, Yoon Soo-min, offering insightful feedback as a producer.

When Yoon Soo-min asked about the attitude and mindset needed for success, Lee emphasized, "The most important thing is confidence," linking it to the debut song 'GENIUS.' He explained that the song's message is about conveying that you are the best, making confidence essential. Lee also encouraged growth by pointing out Yoon's timid speech and unclear pronunciation.

Lee also unveiled the second member, Park Hye-na. Although she was eliminated in a past audition, Lee reached out, believing she was perfect for a unique part in 'GENIUS.' He shared plans for a powerful performance using drumsticks, showcasing his vision as a producer.

Lee advised Park, who taught herself dance and rap, "You have to be diligent," expressing his intent to monitor her progress. Park is set to team up with Yoon from the first lesson, sparking anticipation for their synergy.

When Park expressed concern about her unnatural smile, Lee simply replied, "Then don't smile," suggesting that the audience's attention should be captured by choreography and costumes on stage.
