Paul Kim Joins KBS Cool FM's 'Gayo Plaza' as New DJ

Singer Paul Kim has shared his excitement about being selected as the new DJ for 'Gayo Plaza'.

On the 30th, through his agency YS Entertainment, Paul Kim expressed, "I am waiting for the first broadcast with a sense of responsibility and excitement. As a listener who enjoys radio and a new DJ, I want to have gentle conversations with many people and spend lunchtime together." He added, "Being a morning person, I was actually pleased with the offer for a daytime DJ slot."

Paul Kim will take on the role of DJ for KBS Cool FM's 'Gayo Plaza' starting May 11, hosting the show every day from 12 PM to 2 PM. He plans to engage with listeners not only through music but also with everyday stories and various segments.

Producer Oh Guina of 'Gayo Plaza' stated, "Paul Kim's warm empathy and wit will pleasantly awaken the drowsiness of lunchtime." She continued, "We aim to be the lunchtime companion for listeners who want someone to talk to, beyond just listening to music, including solo diners, drivers, and parents taking care of children."

'Gayo Plaza', a flagship brand of KBS Radio, started in 1986 and celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Paul Kim will take over from Lee Eunji, with his first broadcast on May 11. 'Paul Kim's Gayo Plaza' will air daily from 12 PM to 2 PM.
