Trot Star Kim Yong-bin Opens Up About Overcoming Panic Disorder on 'New Release Pyeonstorang'
On the upcoming May 1st episode of KBS2's variety show 'New Release Pyeonstorang', the story of trot prince Kim Yong-bin, who rose to fame by winning 'Mr. Trot 3', will be unveiled. The episode will delve into the trials he faced during his 23-year journey in the trot music industry and how he managed to overcome them.
In the VCR segment, Kim Yong-bin warmly welcomes his friend Chu Hyuk-jin, who traveled all the way to Daegu to see him. The two became close friends after appearing together on a trot competition show. Chu Hyuk-jin, the son of a barbecue restaurant owner, brought a variety of delicious meats for Kim Yong-bin, who showcased his cooking skills by preparing delightful dishes, impressing everyone.
Kim Yong-bin recalled, “I couldn't do anything for seven years and stayed home,” sharing details of that period. Chu Hyuk-jin also opened up about his struggles, saying, “I dreamed of becoming a singer, but in my 20s, I survived on a single lunchbox a day due to lack of money.” Their candid stories received supportive reactions from the 'Pyeonstorang' cast.
