Yoon Jong-hoon's direct question leaves Um Hyun-kyung blushing.

In the latest episode of KBS 1TV's daily drama 'Our Happy Days' (directed by Lee Jae-sang, written by Nam Sun-hye, produced by Monster Union, Say On Media, and Contents G), aired on the 29th, Go Gyeol (played by Yoon Jong-hoon) finds himself at the center of family tensions and a complicated love quadrangle amidst his grandfather Go Kang-soo's (played by Lee Ho-jae) sudden health decline.

During the episode, Go Gyeol and Jo Eun-ae (played by Um Hyun-kyung) share a meal of kimbap, getting to know each other better. However, the peaceful moment is interrupted when Go Gyeol receives shocking news that his grandfather, who had gone on a trip, has collapsed. In the urgent situation, Jo Eun-ae offers to take Go Gyeol to the hospital.

Upon arriving at the hospital, Go Gyeol faces criticism from Go Dae-chi (played by Yoon Da-hoon), who questions, "Where exactly did you take them?" Although Lee Young-hwa (played by Jung Young-sook) defends him, Eun Soo-jung (played by Moon Hee-kyung) also blames Go Gyeol, leaving him feeling isolated within his family.

Go Min-ho (played by Jung Yoon) and Seo Seung-ri (played by Yoon Da-young) arrive later, only to be met with unexpected circumstances. Seo Seung-ri reacts sharply upon seeing Jo Eun-ae with Go Gyeol, questioning her presence among family members. Go Min-ho attempts to escort Seo Seung-ri, but she coldly refuses, further complicating the tangled love lines among the four.

Jo Eun-ae learns from her friend Ham Cho-rong (played by Um Hye-soo) that Seo Seung-ri's sensitivity stems from her feelings for Go Gyeol. Although Jo Eun-ae dismisses the idea that Go Gyeol's affections are directed at her, she can't help but feel a mix of emotions as she recalls Go Gyeol enduring his family's unjust criticism.

Meanwhile, a special connection between Go Kang-soo and Lee Young-hwa is revealed. Over 50 years ago, Go Kang-soo saved Young-hwa's young daughter Yeon-soon from danger at a construction site, sustaining deep scars in the process. After regaining consciousness, Go Kang-soo urges Seo Kwon-sik (played by Jung Ho-bin) to find Young-hwa's daughter, expressing his inability to rest without ensuring her safety. The mystery surrounding Go Kang-soo, Lee Young-hwa, and her lost daughter deepens, heightening viewers' curiosity.

Towards the end of the episode, Jo Eun-ae passionately explains the love quadrangle to Go Gyeol, even drawing a diagram to clear Seo Seung-ri's misunderstanding. However, Go Gyeol surprises her by stepping closer and asking, "Where is your heart directed, Jo Eun-ae?" The unexpected question leaves Jo Eun-ae flustered, her face turning red, as Go Gyeol gazes at her intently. This heart-fluttering ending raises anticipation for their romance and the next episode.

KBS 1TV's 'Our Happy Days' Episode 24 airs on the 30th at 8:30 PM.
