Tensions Rise in 'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' as Family Secrets Unravel
In tonight's episode of KBS 2TV's mini-series 'Simu-myeon Yeonliri,' airing at 9:50 PM, the conflict between Jo Mi-ryeo (played by Lee Soo-kyung) and her son Seong Ji-cheon (played by Lee Jin-woo) comes to a head.
Previously, Seong Ji-cheon revealed to his father, Seong Tae-hoon (played by Park Sung-woong), that he had dropped out of medical school due to trauma from a medical accident. Seong Tae-hoon, while comforting his son, advised him to be honest with Jo Mi-ryeo once he had sorted out his career path. Although it seemed like the storm had passed, unresolved issues resurface.
Kneeling before his mother, Seong Ji-cheon hesitates but eventually speaks up, leading to unexpected consequences. Jo Mi-ryeo, who took immense pride in her eldest son, misinterprets his confession. What truth Jo Mi-ryeo discovers remains a mystery, sparking viewers' curiosity.
To make matters worse, Jo Mi-ryeo, who had been hiding her panic symptoms from the family, collapses from the shock. Witnessing this, Seong Ji-cheon, Seong Ji-sang (played by Seo Yoon-hyuk), and Seong Ji-gu (played by Yang Woo-hyuk) are thrown into disarray, while Seong Tae-hoon struggles to manage the family's crisis. With supermom Jo Mi-ryeo's breakdown, all eyes are on Seong Tae-hoon to see how he will handle the situation.
Episode 6 of 'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' airs tonight, the 30th, at 9:50 PM.
