SHINee's Minho Supports Soccer Coach Dad with a Heartwarming Visit
On the upcoming episode of MBC's variety show 'I Live Alone,' airing on November 3rd at 11:10 PM, viewers will see Minho, known for his 'fiery charisma,' cheering on his father, Choi Yoon-kyum, the coach of the K-League's Yongin FC.
In the released photos, Minho, who has always been proud of his soccer skills, is seen visiting the practice field to support his father. Choi Yoon-kyum, a veteran coach and former national team player in the '88 Seoul Olympics, is currently the oldest active coach.
The episode also captures Minho engaging in a shooting match with his father. As Minho changes into his sports gear from his 'all-purpose bag,' his father teases him, saying, "You don't have the legs to kick the ball well!" This playful banter sets the stage for an intense father-son showdown.
Minho expresses his determination, stating, "The source of my competitive spirit is my father," as he gears up for the match against the original 'fiery charisma' holder. The outcome of their pride-filled match leaves viewers eager to find out.
Meanwhile, Minho's fellow SHINee member, Key, faced allegations of illegal medical procedures, known as the 'Injection Aunt Controversy,' late last year, leading to a hiatus from activities, including his regular appearance on 'I Live Alone.' After a five-month break, Key will return to the stage at SHINee's solo concert in May. SHINee will hold '- The Trilogy I - 2026 SHINee WORLD VIII: THE INVERT' from May 29th to 31st at the KSPO DOME in Seoul's Olympic Park.
