Singer Lee Ji-hye Opens Up About Her Troubled Past and Family Struggles
Singer and TV personality Lee Ji-hye recently opened up about her troubled teenage years and painful family history on her YouTube channel 'Unhateful Attention Seeker Sister.' In the video, foot reading expert Kim Baek-moon, with 35 years of experience, examined the traces of Lee Ji-hye's life etched on her feet.
The expert observed Lee Ji-hye's feet and noted, "She endured a lot of hardships in her early years. The numerous horizontal lines indicate significant life struggles." Lee Ji-hye paused before admitting, "It was really tough. Life itself was painful."
Tension filled the room when the expert identified the age of 16 (1995) as a major turning point in Lee Ji-hye's life. She confessed, "I dropped out of school and ran away to study abroad. It was a period of intense turmoil."
Lee Ji-hye reflected on her tumultuous past, stating, "Even after that, things didn't go well, and it was the worst situation." However, there was a turning point. The expert mentioned that her fate changed dramatically at the age of 38, to which Lee Ji-hye responded, "That coincides exactly with when I met my husband, Moon Jae-wan. He was the benefactor of my life," expressing deep affection for her husband.
Lee Ji-hye debuted in 1998 with the group S#arp and married tax accountant Moon Jae-wan in 2017. They have two daughters. Currently, she is enjoying a second peak in her career, balancing her unique character between YouTube and variety shows.
