Korean Actress Kim Hee-jung Opens Up About Her Single Life and Family Bonds

Korean actress Kim Hee-jung has revealed that she is single.

On the October 12th episode of KBS2's variety show 'Problem Child in House,' Kim Hee-jung appeared as a guest alongside Park Jin-hee.

Known for her roles as a mother in various dramas, Kim Hee-jung, born in 1970, is currently 55 years old and unmarried. She shared, "I've played the role of a mother so often," adding, "I live with my nieces and nephews. When I go out with my nephew wearing a hat, people think he's my husband, and when I'm with my niece, they assume she's my daughter."

Despite being typecast as an adulteress due to her role in 'Love and War,' Kim Hee-jung clarified that she has played more roles as a devoted wife. She explained, "In 'Famous Princesses,' I played a devoted wife who, after a divorce, torments the remarried woman, which led to my image as an adulteress. I was unfairly labeled as the nation's adulteress at the time."

When asked about living with her nieces and nephews, Kim Hee-jung revealed, "My brother passed away early. There's only a 10 to 11-year age gap between me and my nieces and nephews. Rather than me taking care of them, they help me. They're like friends. There were times when I wasn't well, and they took care of me." She also shared that her nephew is getting married this March.
