Yano Shiho Opens Up About Fake News on 'New Release Pyeonstorang'

Yano Shiho expressed her frustration over fake news.

On the October 1st episode of KBS 2TV's 'New Release Pyeonstorang', viewers were treated to the culinary adventures of trot prince Kim Yong-bin, the returning positivity queen Yano Shiho, and farm-to-table enthusiast Moon Jung-hee. Kim Yong-bin and Yano Shiho each invited friends Choo Hyuk-jin and Jang Yoon-jung, respectively, to share delicious meals and candid conversations. The heartfelt revelations from these stars brought both joy and emotion to the Friday evening audience.

Kim Yong-bin warmly welcomed his friend Choo Hyuk-jin, who traveled all the way to Daegu for him. The two became close friends after appearing together on a trot competition show. Choo Hyuk-jin, the son of a butcher, brought 1 million won worth of meat for Kim Yong-bin, who in turn showcased his culinary skills by preparing Daegu's famous dishes. Their adorable bromance, paired with delicious food, provided plenty of laughs.

The duo then shared stories of their challenging times. Kim Yong-bin, who had been a trot prodigy since childhood, moved to Japan after middle school to pursue singing. He faced economic hardships and a sudden voice change, leading to panic disorder. Kim Yong-bin revealed, "I couldn't do anything for seven years and stayed home." Choo Hyuk-jin also recalled surviving on a single lunchbox for three meals a day in his 20s. Reflecting on their struggles, they vowed to continue giving their best.

Returning positivity queen Yano Shiho invited her 4-year-younger friend Jang Yoon-jung, whom she wanted to get closer to, and served a homemade Korean meal (cashew nut samgyetang and one-pan japchae). Jang Yoon-jung brought soy sauce marinated crab and makgeolli as gifts. Despite her fame, Jang Yoon-jung was taken aback by Yano Shiho's high energy and simple yet delicious Korean recipes, surprising even Kim Yong-bin.

As both are well-known mothers in Korea and Japan, Yano Shiho and Jang Yoon-jung had plenty to chat about. Yano Shiho emphasized that recent fake news about her divorce from Choo Sung-hoon was false. Jang Yoon-jung shared her own experiences with unbelievable fake news, advising Yano Shiho not to let it bother her too much.

The two also discussed parenting and their husbands. Yano Shiho humorously remarked that talking to her husband Choo Sung-hoon sometimes felt like conversing with a gorilla, while Jang Yoon-jung likened her husband Do Kyung-wan to a bear, sparking laughter. They further amused themselves by taking photos with AI-generated fake boyfriends, teasing their husbands, who remained unfazed, turning 'Pyeonstorang' into a laughter-filled episode.

'Pyeonstorang' is a program where viewers can enjoy the cooking lives of stars. As they showcase their daily lives, stars reveal their true selves and hidden charms. The candid conversations between Kim Yong-bin, Yano Shiho, and their friends Choo Hyuk-jin and Jang Yoon-jung are attributed to the show's unique appeal.
