'Chef and Hunter' Ends with Low Ratings and Unsuccessful Final Hunt
In the final episode aired on the 12th, the members failed in their last hunt for a 'wild goat.'
This hunt was a 'wild goat revenge match,' targeting the goat they missed in their first attempt. Choo Sung-hoon, who had narrowly missed capturing the goat previously, was determined to succeed this time, stating, 'I will catch it no matter what,' and 'It's okay if I get hurt.'
Before setting out, the members devised a meticulous strategy to avoid repeating past failures. Pani Bottle used AI research to determine that 'to catch a scent-sensitive wild goat, you must not go against the wind,' while Edward Lee suggested creating hand signals to communicate silently, as the goats are sensitive to sound.
With the goat surrounded by Choo Sung-hoon, Kim Dae-ho, Lim Woo-il, and Pani Bottle, success seemed imminent. However, the goat proved to be smarter and faster than anticipated. In a tense standoff, the goat feigned a move towards Pani Bottle, then quickly changed direction towards Kim Dae-ho, causing him to fall in surprise. Pani Bottle continued the chase but slipped on the muddy path, ultimately losing the target. The final hunt ended in failure, leaving the members with a sense of regret.
'Chef and Hunter,' a survival gourmet exploration show where cast members create exquisite meals from ingredients they hunt in the wild, concluded with this episode.
