Jin Se-yeon Uncovers Park Ki-woong's True Identity in 'Love Prescription'
In the fourth episode of KBS2's weekend drama 'Love Prescription,' aired on the 8th, viewers witnessed a subtle shift in the relationship between Gong Joo-ah (played by Jin Se-yeon) and Yang Hyun-bin (played by Park Ki-woong), alongside a dramatic reversal between the Gong and Yang families in the merchants' association election. The episode achieved its highest viewership rating yet, at 17.7%.
During the episode, the couples Gong Jung-han (played by Kim Seung-soo) and Han Sung-mi (played by Yoo Ho-jung), along with Yang Dong-ik (played by Kim Hyung-mook) and Cha Se-ri (played by So Yi-hyun), ended up at the police station after a fierce altercation. With no evidence found on Cha Se-ri's phone, the situation turned against Han Sung-mi. Upon hearing the news, Gong Joo-ah confronted her mother, asking, “Did you really have an affair?” This deepened the misunderstanding and the rift between mother and daughter.
Meanwhile, the atmosphere in the fashion department where Gong Joo-ah and Yang Hyun-bin work was lively. Yang Hyun-bin's proposal for a review meeting and budget increase was approved. The design team was motivated by the bold condition of revealing designer credits upon winning the fashion contest, and Gong Joo-ah expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Yang Hyun-bin for recognizing the value of designers.
Gong Jung-han, however, couldn't let it go. Late at night, he and Gong Dae-han (played by Choi Dae-chul) vandalized his own election poster to frame Yang Dong-ik. The plan succeeded when Yang Seon-chul (played by Joo Jin-mo) expressed disappointment in Yang Dong-ik.
Yang Hyun-bin showed his considerate side by covering the sleeping Gong Joo-ah with a blanket and preparing breakfast for her. However, the romantic atmosphere was short-lived. A comedic misunderstanding ensued when Gong Joo-ah, retrieving her mother Han Sung-mi's belongings from an apartment, mistook a showering Yang Hyun-bin for her mother's affair partner and attacked him.
Meanwhile, the Gong and Yang families officially began their campaigns for the merchants' association presidency. Their determined efforts to outmaneuver each other heightened the tension. The affair scandal prompted Han Sung-mi to resolve to ensure her husband Gong Jung-han's victory, while Cha Se-ri was equally determined to secure her husband Yang Dong-ik's win.
Towards the end of the episode, Gong Joo-ah realized the many similarities between Director Yang Hyun-bin and her childhood memories of him, piecing together the puzzle. The two reunited at a nostalgic tonkatsu restaurant from their childhood, where Gong Joo-ah gave Yang Hyun-bin a meaningful smile.
