Singer and actress Hyeri has admitted to failing her low-carb diet.

On the October 3rd broadcast of SBS PowerFM's 'Park Ha-sun's Cine Town,' Hyeri appeared as a guest to promote her movie 'Victory.'

During the show, Hyeri discussed the buzz around her five-month low-carb diet, saying, "I failed because of bread. It's strange because I don't usually eat much bread, but once I started the diet, I craved it a lot. I could resist rice, but I couldn't resist snacks, so I gave up."

Hyeri began the low-carb diet after gaining weight following the filming of 'Victory.' She explained, "In 'Victory,' I wanted to portray a friend who is admired and reliable, so I gained some weight for the role. But even after the movie ended, I kept gaining weight. It wasn't just maintaining; I kept gaining more. I felt it was a serious issue, so I chose this diet method."

She added, "The diet is really effective, but it's very tough. I got close to my goal but eventually said, 'I can't do this,' and gave up."
