Ryeo-woon and Choi Hyun-wook play a father-son relationship in 'Sparkling Watermelon'. When asked about their honest first impressions of each other, Choi Hyun-wook said, "He seemed really calm. Now, he has a completely different image from his first impression. Regarding a difficult episode during the filming of 'Glittering Watermelon', Ryeowoon said, "There is a scene where he rides a bicycle. The weather was really cold at that time. Almost two-thirds of the Jamsim Bridge was riding very hard at the speed of the subway. We filmed it four times and it was cold. He said, "It felt like the air was entering my lungs and freezing," and Choi Hyun-wook said, "That's why the rumor spread. His face was different at the end than when he started. The swelling gradually went down as he rode the bike."

When asked about his favorite line in the drama, Choi Hyun-wook replied, "Among Lee Chan-i's lines, there is a line that says, 'I want to shine right now, at this moment.' It was similar to my values. It felt like living faithfully in every moment," and Ryeo-woon said, “It’s the line, ‘I’ll make it sparkle.’ Eun-gyeol couldn’t make it shine himself.
