Jeon Somi and NMIXX Showcase Their Chemistry on 'Live Wire'

Singer Jeon Somi showcased her chemistry with the group NMIXX.

On the 4th episode of Mnet's 'Live Wire' aired on the 11th, Jeon Somi and the group NMIXX (Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, Kyujin) shared stories from their trainee days, delivering laughter and emotion with their genuine friendship.

During the broadcast, Jeon Somi, who has been making a remarkable impact as an idol, met with NMIXX. After watching NMIXX's 'DASH' performance, Jeon Somi revealed, "I trained with Lily as a trainee. We recently met at a college event, and I was stunned by how much Lily had changed. I was grateful for her warm greeting and wanted to meet her again, so I took the opportunity through 'Live Wire'." Lily responded, "I listen to Somi unnie's music a lot, but I was curious about how she's been and really wanted to see her," which brought Jeon Somi to tears. It was a special moment that went beyond musical exchange, confirming their heartfelt communication and affection for each other.

At the suggestion of Jung Jae-hyung, Jeon Somi transformed into an NMIXX member, learning the choreography on the spot and performing with the members. Her flawless execution of NMIXX's dance in just a few minutes impressed Code Kunst, who remarked, "It's a realm of talent." Jeon Somi expressed her joy, saying, "It was such a thrilling moment, even though it was brief. I wanted to get closer to Lily and the NMIXX members, and I'm glad I could fulfill that desire." Jung Jae-hyung praised the reunion, saying, "It's wonderful to see friends who trained together meet again on stage."

Additionally, NMIXX taught Jeon Somi the viral 'Maru is a Puppy' OST challenge, led by Haewon, adding a lively atmosphere to the scene. Towards the end of the broadcast, NMIXX members Kyujin, Lily, and Jiwoo performed the 'World of SWF' mission song 'Ridin' (Prod. THE HUB)', while Jeon Somi, along with NMIXX's Haewon, Sullyoon, and Bae, sat together headbanging, creating a heartwarming scene.
