Legendary Rockers Kim Jong-seo and Kim Jang-hoon Share Heartfelt Stories Over a Bowl of Soup

Legendary South Korean rockers Kim Jong-seo and Kim Jang-hoon recently shared heartfelt life stories and their strong friendship over a bowl of traditional soup.

On comedian Kim Dae-hee's YouTube channel 'Kkondaehee', a video titled 'Legendary Rocker Kim Jong-seo and Manager Kim Share a Bowl of Pork Soup' was uploaded.

In the video, it was revealed that although Kim Jong-seo and Kim Jang-hoon had little overlap in their active years, they became close when Kim Jang-hoon stepped up to help Kim Jong-seo's struggling live club by attracting customers, thus forming a special bond.

The two musicians referred to each other as 'saviors', showcasing a bond that goes beyond musical colleagues. When Kim Jong-seo was going through a slump, Kim Jang-hoon helped him regain confidence by assisting with concert productions, which ultimately led to Kim Jong-seo's decision to embark on a nationwide tour this year. Kim Jang-hoon, on the other hand, is experiencing a resurgence in his career, regaining his prime voice through shows like 'Hidden Singer', and fans are cheering for their joint comeback.

Additionally, the video revealed the behind-the-scenes story of Kim Jong-seo's hit song 'Winter Rain' for the first time. He reminisced about how the song, which he created during his time with the band Sinawe, eventually made it onto his second solo album and became a mega-hit, evoking nostalgia among viewers. The impromptu a cappella performances by Kim Jang-hoon and Kim Jong-seo's powerful vocals throughout the video added to the emotional impact.

Meanwhile, Kim Jang-hoon expressed his unique affection for Dokdo and unveiled bold future plans. He announced his intention to strengthen effective control over Dokdo by organizing a Dokdo marathon and using the proceeds to operate a travel agency in the style of 'Dokdo Airbnb', allowing civilians to experience living on the island.
