Shin Soon-rok Breaks His Own Rules for Love in 'Yumi's Cells Season 3'

Kim Jae-won has decided to break his own principles as he embarks on a romantic relationship with Kim Go-eun.

In the 8th episode of tvN's 'Yumi's Cells Season 3' (directed by Lee Sang-yeob, written by Song Jae-jung and Kim Kyung-ran), which aired at 8:50 PM on the 5th, Shin Soon-rok (played by Kim Jae-won) is depicted breaking his own rules for the love of Kim Yumi (played by Kim Go-eun).

During the episode, Kim Yumi, who came to the office for a meeting, felt nervous upon seeing Shin Soon-rok. While preparing for the meeting, Shin Soon-rok subtly complimented Kim Yumi, saying, "You look pretty today," showcasing the sweetness of their office romance.

Kim Yumi suggested to Shin Soon-rok, "Wouldn't it be better to tell the editor-in-chief?" A surprised Shin Soon-rok asked, "Are you talking about us dating?" Kim Yumi replied, "If he finds out later, he might feel really betrayed," and added, "I'll tell Lee Da-han, so you should tell the editor-in-chief."

Shin Soon-rok insisted, "Absolutely not," explaining, "If he finds out, I might get kicked out of the editorial department." Kim Yumi doubted, "No way," but Shin Soon-rok revealed, "I once said that people who date in the office are thoughtless."

The couple planned a trip, but Shin Soon-rok encountered Ahn Dae-yong (played by Jeon Seok-ho) and Kim Joo-ho (played by Choi Daniel) on the plane. Kim Yumi suggested meeting at the airport later, leading to a series of struggles to keep their relationship secret.

Ultimately, Shin Soon-rok decided to break his own rules. He confessed everything during their trip, moving Kim Yumi, who asked, "Are all your principles breaking because of me? Is it because you like me so much?" Shin Soon-rok jokingly replied, "Stop bragging," with a smile. Kim Yumi expressed concern, "What if all your precious principles are broken because of me? I didn't mean for that to happen," feeling apologetic.

At that moment, Shin Soon-rok expressed his affection by kissing Kim Yumi. Kim Yumi said, "I feel better than receiving a birthday gift or going on a trip to Kyoto." Shin Soon-rok, seeing Kim Yumi's happiness, responded, "I feel great too," smiling lovingly. The couple continued to share kisses, reaffirming their feelings for each other.
