Following the incident, Sun-young, who experienced bleeding, was shocked to discover her pregnancy at the hospital. Despite her continuous suffering, her brother Kang Tae-joo's relentless questioning and suspicion tore her apart, but she tried to calmly explain. Sun-young was thrown into confusion upon learning that her lover, Lee Ki-beom (played by Song Geon-hee), was being pursued as a suspect in a serial murder case.

Amidst these overwhelming challenges, Sun-young recalled the crime moment in her dreams, enhancing the drama's intensity. She remembered a crucial detail: the perpetrator who dragged her on the day of the incident had a limp. She informed Tae-joo of this, asserting that Ki-beom was not the real culprit. However, Tae-joo, losing his composure upon learning of Sun-young's pregnancy, clashed with her. Sun-young, unable to further explain due to Seo Ji-won (played by Kwak Sun-young)'s intervention, displayed helplessness, evoking viewers' sympathy.
