Kim Go-eun and Kim Jae-won Tie the Knot in 'Yumi's Cells Season 3'
On the 8th episode of tvN's 'Yumi's Cells Season 3' (directed by Lee Sang-yeob, written by Song Jae-jung and Kim Kyung-ran), which aired at 8:50 PM on the 5th, viewers witnessed the happy ending of Kim Yumi (played by Kim Go-eun) and Shin Soon-rok (played by Kim Jae-won) as they got married.
In this episode, Shin Soon-rok's planned flight was canceled, and he ended up getting drenched in the rain on his way to Kim Yumi's house. Previously, Shin Soon-rok had given Kim Yumi a proposal ring and mentioned marriage, but Kim Yumi had asked for more time.
Shin Soon-rok noticed the proposal ring placed on the table and asked if he should return it. When Kim Yumi appeared flustered, Shin Soon-rok said, "If it's too much pressure for you, you can do that." He continued, "I was living in my own feelings, but it seems like it's burdensome for you. If you're not ready, I can wait."
Shin Soon-rok added, "I just lived without much thought because I was sure we would eventually get married." Kim Yumi questioned, "How can you be so sure? We haven't even been dating for a month." She continued, "We don't know each other well enough to be so certain."
However, Kim Yumi said, "Let's return the ring for now. I really like you, but I think I need more time. I feel a sense of responsibility that I should." Shin Soon-rok respected Yumi's opinion but admitted he still felt down. As the two shared a kiss and enjoyed a tender moment, Kim Yumi's parents unexpectedly arrived, leading her to introduce Shin Soon-rok to them. Yumi's cells predicted that the time Kim Yumi needed would only be about 3 to 6 months, and thus, Shin Soon-rok and Kim Yumi ended up getting married.
