Actor Hong Sa-bin of the movie 'Hopeless' won the Rising Star Award at the 8th London Asian Film Festival
Actress Hong Sa-bin, who played the role of boy Yeon-gyu in the movie 'Hopeless' (directed by Kim Chang-hoon), won the Rising Star Award at the 8th London Asian Film Festival.
'Hopeless' is a noir drama depicting the story of a boy, Yeon-gyu (Hong Sa-bin), who wants to escape from the hellish reality, meets the middle boss of an organization, Chi-geon (Song Joong-ki), and ends up in a dangerous world. It was also officially invited to the 76th Cannes International Film Festival.

The London Asian Film Festival, which opened on the 18th and ran for 12 days, introduced 49 of the most notable films from 8 Asian countries, including Korea, China, Japan, and Hong Kong.
