Park Seong-woong and Lee Yi-kyung, ‘same age friends’ as close friends

On the 10th, distributor CJ CGV released stills of Park Sung-woong and Lee Yi-kyung, who will show off their strong chemistry among same-age peers in 'Woongnam' (directed by Park Seong-gwang). 'Woongnam' is a comedy about the ups and downs of Woongnam (played by Park Sung-woong), who fights against an international criminal organization with beast-like abilities that transcend humans.

Park Sung-woong and Lee Yi-kyung showed fantastic chemistry when Park Sung-woong made a special appearance in the drama 'Era Chacha Waikiki'. Expectations are high that these two will show an even more upgraded chemistry in 'Woongnam'.

Park Seong-woong and Lee Yi-kyung, who played Woong-nam and Mal-bong, who grew up together in the neighborhood, are expected to bring laughter at the right time with their strong chemistry in the drama, as they are the same age.

In particular, Malbong is one of the few characters who knows that Woongnam is a bear, and when the doppelganger project is in danger, he will demonstrate unexpected comical chemistry by demonstrating Woongnam's extraordinary training ability.

Park Seong-woong said, “I think the chemistry between me and Lee Yi-kyung was even stronger because I was originally close to them. There was no awkwardness in speaking and acting with each other.” Lee Yi-kyung responded, “There were times when I couldn’t film because I was laughing while creating situations that weren’t in the script with actor Park Sung-woong.”
