‘Gran Turismo’, the debut story of a gamer boy pro racer to be released in Korea in August

'Gran Turismo' is a speed action blockbuster depicting the true story of a gamer boy who is serious about the game 'Gran Turismo' and uses his game skills in real car racing to become a professional racer.
The released poster depicts Jann Mardenborough, a fan of the racing game 'Gran Turismo', sitting alone in front of a game monitor and holding a console. Then, the contrast of holding the steering wheel of a supercar on the circuit, leaving the crowd behind, drew attention. Above the image of 'Jean Mardenborough', 'From gamer to racer! Game over, start sprinting!' It arouses curiosity about the process of debuting as a professional racer by 'Jean Madenborough', who used to sit and play games and enjoy speed only through games.
The film is based on the true story of Jeanne Madenborough, a racer who became the youngest winner of the GT Academy in 2011, beating 90,000 participants, and became the first GT Academy winner to challenge a formula car.
Actor David Harbor, who has secured a domestic fan base with 'Hellboy', 'Black Widow' and the Netflix original series 'Stranger Things', and actor Orlando Bloom, who is famous for 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean' series, 'Midsommar' Expectations were raised with solid casting such as actor Archie Maddeck. Directed by Neil Blomkamp, who is recognized for his creative directing skills such as 'District 9' and 'Elysium'.
'Gran Turismo' is scheduled to be released in Korea in August.
