BJ Kwak Juseyeon Confirms Relationship with Fellow Streamer BJ Kay
On the 13th, Kwak Juseyeon officially announced her relationship with Kay on the notice board of her streaming platform, SOOP (formerly Afreeca TV).
She stated, "I imagine many of you were surprised by the recent news, so I'm leaving this message," adding, "I should have informed you first, but some of you might have heard about it through my boyfriend's broadcast while I was on a break, and for that, I apologize."
She continued, "I am currently doing well, having met a good person," and explained, "I know how much you all support and wait for me, so I wanted to be more cautious, which is why the announcement was delayed." She also promised, "I will try to communicate more with my fans in the future."
On the same day, Kay hosted a live broadcast titled "Kay's Major Announcement," where Kwak Juseyeon appeared. They revealed that they first met at a friend's wedding after-party in July last year and have been dating for eight months. During the broadcast, the couple displayed affection by holding hands and sharing a kiss.
Kwak Juseyeon gained attention after appearing in Netflix's 'The Influencer' in 2024. The following year, she was spotted with HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk on a street in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, which also drew public interest. She was previously rumored to be dating rapper Kim Haon from 'High School Rapper 2.'
On the YouTube channel 'Beautiful Nerd,' Kwak Juseyeon shared, "A famous rapper showed interest in me and sent me a DM (direct message), but as soon as the article about Chairman Bang came out, he canceled and deleted all messages."
She added, "A well-known actor, whose name you would recognize, followed my account after we met somewhere, only to unfollow me secretly later. Soccer players and other celebrities have also liked my Instagram stories."
BJ Kay previously showcased his 300-pyeong family home in Pohang on his YouTube channel. He also boasted about purchasing luxury supercars with the earnings from virtual gifts.
