Korean Actress Ko Hyun-jung Reunites with Anne Hathaway in Seoul After a Year
On the 15th, Ko Hyun-jung's YouTube channel released a video titled 'Ko Hyun-jung Vlog 17.' In the video, Ko met with Hollywood top stars Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, who were visiting Korea to promote their film 'The Devil Wears Prada 2.'
In the video, Ko Hyun-jung greeted Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway with a nervous expression. Meryl Streep eased the tension by complimenting Ko, saying, "You are so beautiful," creating a warm atmosphere. Anne Hathaway also shared a friendly interaction with Ko. Introducing herself as 'Anne,' Ko expressed her admiration, saying she already knew who she was.
Ko Hyun-jung cautiously mentioned to Anne Hathaway that they had crossed paths during her New York schedule last year. Anne Hathaway responded with a smile, saying, "It's great to see you again." When Anne asked if they had taken a photo together back then, Ko expressed regret, saying they hadn't.
Notably, Ko Hyun-jung caught attention by wearing the same high heels that Anne Hathaway wore during a Tokyo event, creating a bond over their shared fashion choice. The two reminisced about their past encounter, adding to the friendly atmosphere.
As the interview concluded, Ko Hyun-jung presented Anne Hathaway with a traditional Korean wrapping cloth and a lucky pouch, conveying her heartfelt emotions. She remarked, "It was a precious and overwhelming day that made me fall in love with my life as an actress again. It was too short," and jokingly asked, "Am I successful now?" bringing laughter.
Meanwhile, 'The Devil Wears Prada 2,' featuring Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep, is set to premiere in Korea on the 29th.
