Exciting New Developments in 'Family Plan' Season 2: Script Reading and Cast Revealed

The script reading session for 'Family Plan' Season 2 has been unveiled, following the departure of actor Ryu Seung-bum. The late Lee Sun-kyun's wife, Jeon Hye-jin, steps in as the new villain for the season.

Coupang Play's series 'Family Plan' Season 2 follows the Yeong-su family as they move to a new city, hiding their past, and face a larger evil force, completing a hellish revenge to protect each other.

The script reading was attended by director and writer Kim Jung-min, along with main cast members Bae Doona, Baek Yoon-sik, Park Byung-eun, Lomon, and Lee Soo-hyun, as well as key production staff. The synergy of the 'family' from Season 1 brought a heightened sense of immersion, while the sharp performances of new cast members heated up the reading session.

Returning stars Bae Doona, Baek Yoon-sik, Lomon, and Lee Soo-hyun reunite as the 'family' to anchor the story. 'Brain hacker' mom 'Han Yeong-su' (Bae Doona) showcases her cold leadership, while 'Baek Kang-seong' (Baek Yoon-sik) continues his quirky yet solid presence. Their son 'Baek Ji-hoon' (Lomon) and daughter 'Baek Ji-woo' (Lee Soo-hyun) portray a more mature family bond. Adding to the tension is Park Byung-eun, joining as uncle 'Baek Cheol-yong', a new turning point for the Yeong-su family.
