Actor Bae Sung-woo Recalls Fainting Incident During Filming
Actor Bae Sung-woo reminisced about a time he fainted during filming.

On the 26th, an interview with Bae Sung-woo for the movie 'The Ultimate Investigation' was conducted at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. This marked Bae's first interview with the press since his DUI incident.

During the interview, Bae shared an episode where he fainted during a fight scene. He recalled, "There was a scene where the other actor had to grab my neck and push and choke me. We adjusted our strength to avoid pain, but my neck was still somewhat choked. It was like a blackout game kids play, and I blacked out."

He added, "I blacked out and collapsed. It lasted for 2-3 seconds? Maybe 1-2 seconds? I fainted." He jokingly mentioned, "The other actor seemed to enjoy it a bit, being so immersed in the scene."

'The Ultimate Investigation' is a crime investigation drama about a detective named Jae-hyuk (played by Bae Sung-woo) who, after being demoted to a rural area, teams up with rookie detective Jung-ho (played by Jung Ga-ram) to solve a murder case involving two suspects. Originally set to release in 2020, the film was delayed for seven years due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Bae's DUI controversy. It is now set to release on the 2nd of next month.
