On the morning of the 25th, a press conference for MBN's new variety show 'Legend of the Unknowns: The Rank War of Trot Men' was held at the Stanford Hotel in Sangam, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by PD Kim Woo-jin, announcer Kim Dae-ho, singers Jang Min-ho, Nam Jin, Joo Hyun-mi, Jo Hang-jo, Shin Yoo, Kang Moon-kyung, Son Tae-jin, Lim Han-byul, and Yang Se-hyung.
'Legend of the Unknowns: The Rank War of Trot Men' (hereafter referred to as 'Legend of the Unknowns') is a grand trot survival program where 99 male unknown singers compete for a single throne.
Yang Se-hyung's role as a judge draws attention. He stated, "I've been in the comedy world for a long time, so I can't dare to evaluate the singing skills of others," but added, "However, I believe my role is to win people's hearts."
He emphasized, "Having performed numerous shows in Daehangno, I've constantly strived to win over the audience's hearts. Fellow non-singer participants Hong Hyun-hee and Han Chae-young also know well how to connect with people in their respective fields."
Yang Se-hyung further explained, "I decided to participate because I believe I can contribute by observing how contestants communicate with the audience and convey energy on stage."
Additionally, Yang Se-hyung commented on the contestants, saying, "They are participating with the mindset that this is their last chance to become legends from being unknowns. It's more intense than any other battle. Watching their performances will bring warm emotions."
Meanwhile, 'Legend of the Unknowns' premieres tonight at 9:40 PM.
