Actor Park Joong-hoon Shares Updates on His Three Children

Actor Park Joong-hoon recently shared updates about his three children.

On the October 12th episode of SBS's variety show 'My Ugly Duckling', Park Joong-hoon appeared as a special MC.

Celebrating his 60th birthday this year, Park Joong-hoon remarked, "Turning 60 feels special. I had a small dinner with my favorite juniors and friends. I told them not to bring gifts or cakes, but they did anyway. Someone even gifted me a piece of gold. It felt nice to receive it."

The conversation also touched on Park Joong-hoon's three children. Shin Dong-yup introduced them by saying, "The eldest son is an AI education consultant, the second daughter is an IT designer, and the youngest daughter is a graduate of the University of California," which drew admiration. Upon seeing their photos, the 'My Ugly Duckling' mothers commented, "They look just like their father. He's created a masterpiece."

Park Joong-hoon explained his parenting philosophy, saying, "I tend to let my children do what they want. It's not neglect, but giving them autonomy." When Shin Dong-yup asked, "Would you still give autonomy if your daughter brought home someone who seemed like a con artist?" Park Joong-hoon replied, "That's her judgment to make. She needs to experience it to learn."

Meanwhile, Park Joong-hoon married Yoon Soon, a third-generation Korean-Japanese, in 1994, and they have one son and two daughters.
