Actress Lee Tae-ran Reflects on Her Career and New Stage Role in 'Baekban Journey'
On the October 12th episode of TV Chosun's 'Baekban Journey with Heo Young-man', actress Lee Tae-ran enjoyed a meal in Hongseong.
Upon her arrival, a local resident humorously remarked, "You played a villain on TV," referencing her memorable role as the rare antagonist 'Go Seong-hee' in the KBS2 drama 'Glamorous Days'.
Known for her roles as kind and relatable characters in dramas like 'Famous Princesses' and 'The Wang Family', Lee successfully transformed her image with her villainous role in 'Glamorous Days'.
Regarding her unfamiliar role as a villain, she shared, "It wasn't easy to act. It was my first time playing such a character, and the lines were extensive. It was challenging but enjoyable. Receiving an award made it worthwhile."
She added, "There's a scene where I cry out in frustration because of my son. Even though I don't have children, I deeply understand a mother's heart."
Meanwhile, Lee Tae-ran married venture entrepreneur Shin Seung-hwan in March 2014, and the couple has no children.
