K-Pop Group SeeYa Reunites After 15 Years: New Music and Future Plans
Recalling their appearance on 'Sugar Man,' the members candidly shared their nervousness. Nam Gyu-ri admitted, "I couldn't think of anything at that moment. I was so nervous."
Regarding why their reunion didn't happen sooner, Lee Bo-ram explained, "At that time, we had to consider the company's opinions. We decided to establish our own company to have more control."
Currently, SeeYa is self-managed, with all members being shareholders and executives of their company. Nam Gyu-ri humorously noted, "All three of us are shareholders and executives, and I ended up being the CEO."
Regarding their new song 'Nevertheless, We,' Nam Gyu-ri shared, "The lyrics talk about being a tree that has endured seasons, not just a flower that bloomed briefly. We aim to root ourselves as a significant musical presence over 20 years." She emphasized, "It's a song that encapsulates 20 years and is a gift to our fans."
When asked about their future plans, Kim Yeon-ji expressed, "We've never done a national tour, and I really want to try it." Nam Gyu-ri added, "We want to show international fans that there's a female trio group like us in Korea. We hope to have opportunities to connect with many overseas fans."
