'After School Teacher Taeri' Hits Record Low Ratings as Kim Taeri's Vision Comes to Life

'After School Teacher Taeri' has hit its lowest ratings yet, while Kim Taeri's imagination becomes reality.

On October 12 at 7:40 PM, tvN's variety show 'After School Teacher Taeri' will air its 8th episode, featuring the drama club's first run-through of 'The Wizard of Oz' play, just before the big school festival. The episode will reveal the grand scale of the play's stage.

In the ninth class, under the watchful eyes of Kim Taeri, Choi Hyun-wook, and Kangnam, the children will practice all scenes in a run-through as if it were the real performance. The kids, dressed as characters like Dorothy, Tin Man, Scarecrow, Lion, Toto, Wicked Witch, and Wizard, along with the play's music created by Code Kunst, will enhance the audience's immersion.

Ahead of the performance, Kim Taeri, Choi Hyun-wook, and Kangnam will have one-on-one dates with the children to understand their feelings. Kim Taeri will date Hyomin, who dreams of becoming an actress, Choi Hyun-wook will spend time with Hayoon, who reminds him of his childhood, and Kangnam will bond with Wonjin, known for their playful chemistry.

The eagerly awaited return of Code Kunst, who had been away for music production, will also be featured. He will present the emotional ending song for the play, which he composed overnight, moved to tears by the experience.

The large-scale play stage, which even surprised experienced performers like Kangnam and Code Kunst, will be unveiled. Kim Taeri expressed her satisfaction, saying, “I was very pleased,” seeing her written adaptations come to life.

Meanwhile, 'After School Teacher Taeri' started with a 1.5% rating but dropped to 0% by the fourth episode. The most recent episode, the seventh, recorded a historic low of 0.6%.
