Yang Joon-hyuk's Truffle Surprise: From Business Losses to Culinary Aspirations

Yang Joon-hyuk, who recently confessed to losing 5 billion won due to a business failure, is taken aback by the discovery of truffles.

In the 352nd episode of KBS2's variety show 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears' (hereafter 'The Boss'), airing on the 12th, viewers will witness the Hong Kong tour of Jung Ho-young, Jung Ji-sun, and Yang Joon-hyuk. During the tour, Yang Joon-hyuk humorously asks, “What is a truffle?” when presented with the delicacy.

After tasting the signature 'Acorn Noodles' covered in truffles, Yang Joon-hyuk is asked by Jung Ji-sun, “How do you like the truffle aroma?” to which he responds, “What is a truffle?” Jung Ho-young explains, “It’s the most expensive mushroom,” and Jung Ji-sun adds, “The truffles on this plate are worth about 100,000 won.” Yang Joon-hyuk is shocked, exclaiming, “Mushrooms are that expensive?” He then devours the truffle and acorn noodles, commenting, “It’s tender and delicious.”

Yang Joon-hyuk is amazed by the popularity of Jung Ji-sun and Jung Ho-young, who have risen to global fame as chefs through their appearance on 'Black and White Chef.' In Hong Kong, they are swarmed with photo requests, leaving Yang Joon-hyuk to watch enviously. He jokingly remarks, “I should bring a fish and join 'Black and White Chef' too,” expressing his playful jealousy and hinting at his own culinary ambitions.

Yang Joon-hyuk's newfound appreciation for truffles at Mosu Hong Kong and his declaration to join 'Black and White Chef' mark the beginning of his journey as a global chef. This will be revealed in the episode airing at 4:40 PM.
