Former K-Pop Star Kim Ryang-ha Shares Heartbreaking Story of Lost Fortune and New Beginnings

Kim Ryang-ha, one half of the early 2000s twin dance duo Ryang Hyun Ryang Ha, known for their hit 'I Didn't Go to School,' has recently shared an update on his life, sparking widespread interest.

A video titled '[Nagomab] Did Ryang Hyun Ryang Ha Lose 2 Billion Won?!' was recently uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Byungjin's Brother,' drawing significant attention from netizens.

Kim Ryang-ha expressed deep trust in JYP's Park Jin-young, stating, “Jin-young hyung made a 50-50 contract with us, so we earned as much as he did,” dismissing any rumors to the contrary.

The earnings, deposited under the brothers' names when they were still elementary school students, reportedly amounted to billions of won.

Tragedy struck unexpectedly when Kim Ryang-ha was serving in the military. His father suddenly passed away from a heart attack, and with him, the knowledge of where the cash savings were kept vanished.

Kim Ryang-ha shared, "While I was in the army, my father passed away, and I never found out where the money went." He added, "Due to the strict nature of Busan people, I never dared to bring up money matters with him, and that remains a regret."

Despite the disappearance of a fortune and his father's sudden death, Kim Ryang-ha chose to embrace the legacy of 'people's memories' over despair. He stated, "Everyone knows how I worked and earned, and with that in mind, I'm living my life to the fullest."

Kim Ryang-ha has since transformed into a new entrepreneur and is preparing to release a solo single, generating anticipation. He mentioned, "Business is fun," and regarding his new song, he said, "I'm writing most of the lyrics myself. I want to create music that people can relate to."
