Actress Han Ji-min Opens Up About Her Personality Transformation

Actress Han Ji-min recently shared insights into how her personality has changed over the years.

On October 22, the YouTube channel 'Yojung Jae-hyung' released a video titled "Did Jimin Start to Change from That Moment?" In the video, Han Ji-min, who is set to appear in JTBC's upcoming show 'Efficient Meeting of Singles' premiering on October 28, appeared as a guest.

During the video, Han Ji-min revealed, "My personality changed a lot after my debut. When I worked with my former manager, I was very reserved. I wasn't allowed to stay out late or contact other actors."

She continued, "But after joining BH Entertainment, they encouraged me to socialize more, attend after-parties, and even drink a little. This experience changed my personality significantly. I realized the world isn't as harsh as I thought. I could go out and have a drink without being judged, and that changed me a lot."

Reflecting on her early career, she confessed, "I wasn't good at acting initially. I got scolded a lot while working on 'All In.' I used to cry every day after going home, thinking I shouldn't be a burden to others. But 'All In' turned out better than expected, despite the tough times."

Han Ji-min also shared an incident where she stood up against a director's unreasonable demand. "A director once told a rookie actor to make sure their tears fell from the right eye first, which was absurd. I spoke up, saying, 'We're not machines or robots. Director, we're not machines.'" The name of the project was censored in the video.

Born in 1982, Han Ji-min is currently in a public relationship with Choi Jung-hoon, a member of the band Jannabi, who is 10 years her junior. They have been dating since August 2024.
