Actors Hwang Jung-min and Jung Woo-sung of the movie '12.12: THE DAY' (directed by Kim Seong-su) will appear as special DJs on MBC FM4U's 'Noon Song of Hope' by Kim Shin-young on the 25th.
'12.12: THE DAY' is a movie depicting the nine hours of action to prevent the rebellion of the new military regime that occurred in the capital Seoul on December 12, 1979.
Hwang Jung-min and Jung Woo-sung of '12.12: THE DAY', which was released on November 22, 2023 and continues to be a long-term box office hit, are scheduled to appear as special DJs on MBC FM4U's 'Noon Song of Hope, This is Kim Shin-young' and talk.
On November 16, before the release, when actors Hwang Jung-min, Jung Woo-sung, Park Hae-joon, and Kim Sung-gyun appeared on the radio, Kim Shin-young was asked if they would consider appearing as a radio DJ when the movie reaches 10 million viewers. Hwang Jung-min and Jung Woo-sung readily agreed, saying, "(When we reach 10 million), we can do anything if you just ask us to do it." To fulfill their pledge, Hwang Jung-min and Jung Woo-sung appear as special DJs for 'This is Kim Shin-young, Hope Song at Noon' and share a variety of stories, from their thoughts on reaching 10 million viewers to the undisclosed behind-the-scenes stories of the movie.
