'Argyle', the new film by director Matthew Vaughn of the 'Kingsman' series, will be released in Korea on February 7, 2024.
'Argyle' is an action blockbuster in which author Ellie, who becomes a target of spies around the world when her spy novel becomes a reality, writes the next chapter of the novel to escape the crisis and visits legendary agent Argyle in reality.
The main poster depicts unique characters against the backdrop of an argyle pattern, which is the symbol of the work. The structure of the characters, which are symmetrical from top to bottom, along with the phrase “New chapter of spy action,” creates interest.
Bryce Dallas Howard, who played the role of Ellie, a best-selling author of spy novels, is seen covering her face with her novel 'Argyle' and appearing to spy on those around her, attracting attention. Ellie is an ordinary writer who becomes the main character of the story when her novel becomes reality. The people who come to Ellie in an unpredictable situation are Aiden (Sam Rockwell), a talented spy in real life, and Argyle (Henry Cavill), a legendary spy.
Director Matthew Vaughn, who was in charge of directing, expressed his pride, saying, "'Argyle' is a work that will redefine the spy action genre. When I first read the script, I thought it was a truly amazing and original spy work."
