tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Ilta Scandal' (directed by Yoo Je-won, written by Yang Hee-seung, produced by Studio Dragon) depicts the bittersweet romance between the passionate owner of a national side dish store and a Korean math instructor who unfolds in the battlefield of private education. Ahead of the first broadcast on the 14th (Saturday), stills capturing Jung Kyung-ho's busy day have been released, drawing attention.
Jung Kyung-ho plays the role of Choi Chi-yeol, Korea's number one star instructor, who, as his name suggests, enjoys the highest salary and idol-level popularity after working hard. Choi Chi-yeol's every move is always the subject of intense interest in 'Nokun-ro', known as Korea's No. 1 private education center. In addition, he is called the 'trillion won man' because the added value induced effect created every year creates an average annual economic value of 1 trillion won. Although he seems like a perfect man who has everything, including ability, wealth, and good looks, Choi Chi-yeol actually suffers from an eating disorder and cannot feel the happiness of a full stomach, so he falls in love with Nam Haeng-seon (played by Jeon Do-yeon), the owner of the 'national side dish store'. Expectations are growing day by day to see what changes this fateful meeting will bring to his life.
Among these, the released still captures attention as it shows Choi Chi-yeol's day, which is so tightly packed that 24 hours are not enough. First of all, the sight of him fixating his eyes only on the monitor at 'Choi Chi-yeol's Lab' shows that he doesn't even waste time alone in the office. The schedule of Ilta instructor Choi Chi-yeol, which began in earnest, is full of variety. Choi Chi-yeol, standing in front of a huge blackboard filled with math problem solutions, looks like he has just finished a video lecture. It is also his responsibility to take care of the lab family. The charisma that cannot be hidden is evident in the way he says something to the teaching assistants.
Meanwhile, Choi Chi-yeol was captured filming a promotional video completely transformed into the 'Kingsman' style, showing how hard he is working in various fields to become the number one star instructor in the private education world. Here is not the end. Even after finishing all his schedules, Choi Chi-yeol returns to the lab and concentrates on solving math problems. You can clearly feel how sincere he is in teaching students, as well as his passion and affection.
Like this, Choi Chi-yeol's day as a lecturer at Ilta is filled with only 'work', even excluding the time when he meets students directly and gives lectures. This part gives you an idea of how much effort he put into it to reach the top position. Choi Chi-yeol, who is in first place but still lives fiercely every day to maintain that position, meets Nam Haeng-seon, the owner of a national side dish store, raising expectations for what kind of pink changes will occur in his daily life .
Meanwhile, tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Ilta Scandal' will premiere at 9:10 pm on Saturday, January 14th.
