Producer Bae Jeong-hoon “Touching a junior director? I don’t do desking.”
Producer Bae Jeong-hoon of 'National Investigation Headquarters' gave freedom to his juniors.

On the 22nd, an interview was conducted with PD Bae Jeong-hoon, who directed Wave's original 'National Investigation Headquarters', at an office located in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

On this day, PD Bae said, "'National Investigation Headquarters' had a total of 13 episodes and 7 teams. That means there were 7 directors. I told the producers and writers in charge of each episode, 'Do whatever you want.' “I didn't want to impose restrictions,” he explained. “So to speak, I eliminated the desking role. Even though I did my best to help, I didn't touch on the directing on set.”

He continued, “There were PDs who focused on the story, and there were PDs who focused on the actuality of the scene. As a result, you will feel that the directing feels different.” He added, “Not only the directing, but also the style of the police officer who responds to the interview is different. I think it is a combination of various elements. “But what runs through all of this is still tied together as a ‘story.’”

'National Investigation Headquarters' is a 100% real investigation documentary that has never been revealed to the world, from the incident to the arrest. This is the first directing work of producer Bae Jeong-hoon of the SBS liberal arts program 'I Want to Know That' (hereinafter referred to as 'G-Al'), and it attracted a lot of attention even before its release.
