French travelers were captivated by the overwhelming array of traditional Korean dishes and the rich culinary heritage of Jeonju, a city known for its cultural significance.

On the October 2nd episode of MBC every1's 'Welcome, First Time in Korea?', Paco, Max, and Jamil from France embarked on a journey to Jeonju to discover the true essence of Korea.

Paco expressed his desire to learn about the lifestyle of Korean ancestors, choosing Jeonju as their destination to experience the authentic way of life beyond just visiting famous tourist spots.

Upon arriving in Jeonju, the group visited a traditional Korean restaurant, where they admired the unique Korean residential culture, including ondol heating and mother-of-pearl furniture, showcasing their appreciation for art.

Initially surprised by the floor seating, Paco and his friends were soon left speechless by the sight of the 'sangchae delivery'—a grand display of numerous side dishes served at once. Feeling like royalty, Paco praised the experience and humorously declared he didn't want to return to France, dreaming of a life in Korea.

Max, known for his culinary passion, impressed MC Kim Jun-hyun with his enthusiastic eating and declared he had found his favorite dish, heightening anticipation.

Even Jamil, who had prior experience working in a Korean restaurant, was in awe of the depth of Jeonju's traditional cuisine, giving a thumbs-up in admiration.

However, their peaceful dining experience was briefly challenged by the infamous 'hongeo samhap', a dish that divides opinions even among Koreans. Paco bravely tried the dish, only to be taken aback by its pungent aroma, displaying a perplexed expression.
