MBC Every1's 'War of the Roses', which will be broadcast on May 10th, will feature strange and absurd couple stories caused by parrots.
The main characters of the first story are a couple, Romeo and Regina. Regina, who dreamed of remarrying, posted a notice in the newspaper looking for a husband, and quickly married Romeo, whom she had met by fate. Regina, who had been lonely since the beginning of her marriage due to Romeo's frequent business trips, spent a lot of time with her pet parrot, Hugo, and developed intimacy with her. Kim Ji-min, who heard the story, said, “Sometimes when I cry, my dog Nari comforts me. “He is someone I can rely on much more than my boyfriend,” he said, making people laugh.
Meanwhile, the parrot Hugo repeatedly said an unknown word, and when Regina learned the identity of the word, she eventually asked Romeo for a divorce. Hugo soothed Regina's loneliness by taking care of him, and as if to repay her, he told her something. Lee Sang-min, who watched Hugo's video, became overly immersed, saying, "I get angry when I imagine it's my story." This raises curiosity as to what words Hugo repeated in front of Regina.
The second story took place in a town in America. The Duranm couple was found in their bedroom with multiple gunshot wounds. The shooting incident, which was almost buried as a cold case as no evidence or witnesses were found for over six months, was solved thanks to the parrot that the couple raised.
Bird, a parrot at the scene of the incident, accurately recreated the situation and became an important clue to the investigation. The cast members who saw Bird's amazing appearance in the video said they were amazed and said, "It gave me goosebumps." In particular, Jaewoong Yang continues to be impressed, saying, “There is no separate black box.” Lee Sang-min continued, “I live alone, and the world is scary these days. Kim Ji-min ponders, “Maybe I should adopt a parrot and raise it together,” and Kim Ji-min also falls in love with the charm of parrots, saying, “I really want to raise a parrot.”
