Actor Um Ki-joon Opens Up About Awkward Moment with Kim Gura on 'Radio Star'

Actor Um Ki-joon shares an awkward experience with broadcaster Kim Gura on 'Radio Star'.

The upcoming episode of MBC's 'Radio Star', airing on the 8th, features a special titled 'Men Living with King Suro', with guests Kim Soo-ro, Um Ki-joon, Park Gun-hyung, and Kim Hyung-mook.

In a preview clip, host Jang Do-yeon asks, "Were you really nervous about appearing on 'Radio Star'?" Known for his villainous roles, Um Ki-joon recalls, "During a previous appearance, I was scolded by someone for not speaking much..." He shares a past incident where he received a rebuke from Kim Gura for giving short answers.

Feeling awkward, Kim Gura asks Um Ki-joon, "I heard you were thankful that I got you to talk?" Um Ki-joon confirms, "That's right," revealing a warm behind-the-scenes story between the rebuke and short answers.

MC Yoo Se-yoon asks, "Are you usually a man of few words?" to which Um Ki-joon responds, "I really don't talk much," eliciting laughter. Fellow guests Kim Soo-ro and Park Gun-hyung testify to this, with Park Gun-hyung joking, "He barely talks outside of his lines, it's like a temple stay." Kim Hyung-mook chimes in, "But he's really funny," highlighting Um Ki-joon's hidden charm and drawing everyone's attention.

'Radio Star' airs at 10:30 PM.
