Hong Ssang-ri, a plum master, confessed her feelings of sorry to her children.
On TV Chosun's 'Star Documentary My Way', which aired on the 18th, Hong Ssang-ri, who became Korea's first plum master, appeared.
On this day, Hong Ssang-ri said that she was "0 point as a mother." The daughter also recalled, "The elders in the neighborhood said, 'Your mother is a stepmother.' I had a big thought, ‘Mom, look at me,’” he said.
Hong Ssang-ri said, "I couldn't pay attention to my children's school admissions, sports days, picnics, etc. I had to pay off my debts and eat, so I only worked.
Hong Ssang-ri, who was instantly in debt due to her husband's mining business, said with tears in her eyes, "I didn't have money to send my kids to school, so my sister in Busan took her eldest son to study. I went through all sorts of trash cans and picked up old clothes."
Hong Ssang-ri revealed that she underwent two surgeries for endometritis at the age of 29. He said, "I was in so much pain that I couldn't lie down or sit down. During the second surgery, I wore a diaper for three years." Hong Ssang-ri said, "I studied Omi and five colors in order to be healthy. The good things for the body are in the mountains and in the fields. That way, I didn't eat kimchi with salted anchovies or anchovy broth."
She also remembered her husband, who passed away after a 30-year struggle against the disease. Hong Ssang-ri confessed, "My husband had a vase because of the failure of the mining business, but he could not lie down comfortably. He spent 30 years in the hospital."
Her husband, worried about the burden Hong Ssang-ri would carry alone, such as children and debt, said the most frequently asked question, “How can I die because I feel sorry for you after I die?” Hong Ssang-ri shed tears, saying, "I couldn't take care of myself at the hospital and play with him so I could live.
