MBC's New Variety Show 'Choi Woo Soo San' Premieres with Intense Mountain Challenges

Following the conclusion of Kim Tae-ho's variety show 'Manito Club' with low ratings, 'Choi Woo Soo San' is set to take the baton.

Premiering at 6 PM on the 3rd, MBC's new variety show 'Choi Woo Soo San' is the first of its kind, featuring intense survival challenges in the mountains. Contestants will compete fiercely to collect the most acorns and earn the title of the first 'Choi Woo Soo' winner, drawing significant attention.

In the premiere episode, Yoo Se-yoon, Jang Dong-min, Heo Kyung-hwan, Boom, and Yang Se-hyung don suits reminiscent of an awards ceremony as they embark on a hike from Achasan to the peak of Yongmasan. They dive into the unique and challenging games that define the world of 'Choi Woo Soo San' from the very first episode.

The members, visiting Yongmasan to capture the spirit of late 2026, engage in an unusual warm-up game called 'Catch the Horse's Tail,' where they crawl on all fours, grabbing the tail of the person in front. The intense chase leaves them exhausted rather than warmed up, eliciting laughter. When the production team urges them to continue the hike without a break, Boom humorously comments, "In the studio, this would be an hour-long talk," turning the scene into a comedy.

As the relentless games and hiking continue, the members are both bewildered and driven by the prospect of collecting acorns, adding to the entertainment. They hang from bars playing 'Kkung Kkung Tta' and learn inverted sit-ups from a Yongmasan fitness expert, promising a spicy challenge that captures attention.
