Unraveling the Mystery of the Missing Elderly Couple on 'Brave Detectives 5'
Airing on May 1st on tcast E Channel, the sixth episode will feature former Superintendent Yoon Wae-chul and Inspector Kim Jin-soo as they recount the investigation.
The episode reveals the case of an elderly couple who vanished from a rural village. The investigation began with a 911 call from a distant child who couldn't reach their parents. The child had visited for a memorial service but couldn't find any trace of the parents even late into the night.
The investigation team deployed search dogs and helicopters to scour the nearby hills and lake, but no trace of the couple was found. As the investigation stalled, a suspicious note discovered in the grandfather's notebook emerged as a new lead.
Kwak Sun-young expressed outrage over the motive behind the crime, stating, "It was something no better than a beast would say."
