Chef Choi Hyun-seok Responds to Kwon Sung-joon's 'Aging Curve' Jab on 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator'

Chef Choi Hyun-seok has responded to Kwon Sung-joon's 'aging curve' jab.

On the October 26th episode of JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator,' a 15-minute cooking battle unfolded using ingredients from the 'COVID' master.

The first match of the day saw Choi Hyun-seok face off against Kwon Sung-joon. In the past, Kwon had lost all three of their previous encounters. Ahead of this battle, Kwon expressed confidence, saying, "Recently, after analyzing, it seems the aging curve has hit you hard." To this, Choi quickly retorted, "It's been a while since the culinary world has rotted," bringing laughter to the scene.

As the competition began, Kwon attempted to gain the upper hand by perfectly mimicking Choi's signature 'salt performance.' Observing this, the cast burst into laughter, commenting, "There's a bit of a difference in arm length," and "I thought he was sprinkling salt over his head." Choi, in turn, used Kwon's catchphrases to unsettle him.

Following this, Sam Kim and Yoon Nam-no faced off in a 'noodle dish' challenge, marking their first-ever duel in 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' history, adding fresh tension. Yoon, who has suffered five consecutive losses to Kim Poong, remarked, "I'd rather face Sam Kim than Kim Poong," taking a jab. In response, Kim Poong provided Sam Kim with a winning strategy to defeat Yoon, continuously offering advice and guiding the match. Watching this, Kim Sung-joo expressed amazement at Kim Poong's influence, saying, "Now Kim Poong is controlling everything."

The master chef shook the studio with a 'new concept push-and-pull tasting review' never seen before on 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator.' As the master teased, "Are you curious about the taste?" and "You've probably never tasted this before," the cast was captivated by his quirky and unexpected charm.
