Veteran Actress Lee Sang-mi Embarks on a Blind Date After 21 Years

Veteran actress Lee Sang-mi, 64, is stepping into the world of blind dating after 21 years.

In a preview clip of 'Joseon's Love Matchmaker,' Lee Sang-mi, who gained immense popularity for her role as 'Gaettong's Mom' in the beloved national drama 'Jeonwon Diary,' is seen seeking love once again. Previously, in March, she was set up on a blind date with comedian Oh Ji-heon's father.

Reflecting on her past, Lee shared, "Since my mother suffered a stroke, I have been her caregiver for 21 of the past 40 years," revealing the challenges she faced. She candidly expressed her motivation for trying a twilight romance, saying, "If I meet someone, I can focus on them instead of my mother."

In the released video, Lee is seen getting her makeup done for the special occasion. She excitedly requested, "Make me look bright and youthful. It's an important day. Make me prettier than the bride outside," unable to hide her anticipation. She described her ideal partner as someone with a kind heart like her father and someone who can look at her with maturity.
