TV Personality Jeon Hyun-moo Reveals He Almost Bought a Luxury Apartment in Seoul

Renowned TV personality Jeon Hyun-moo, known for his annual income exceeding 4 billion KRW, reveals he almost purchased a luxury apartment in Seoul's Han River area but backed out at the last moment.

On the upcoming episode of KBS2's 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears,' airing on the 19th, comedian Park Myung-soo and special intern Hyojung from Oh My Girl meet with Kim Dain, the founder of the fashion brand Mâitinkim, who achieved a remarkable 100 billion KRW in sales by the age of 32.

Kim Dain, a leading figure in the fashion industry beloved by the global MZ generation, shares her journey of achieving 100 billion KRW in sales with Mâitinkim and launching a new brand, Dainit, which reached 10 billion KRW in sales within two years. She astonishes Park Myung-soo by revealing, "I started with 300,000 KRW borrowed from my mother at the age of 24." Jeon Hyun-moo adds, "I saw people lining up at a Mâitinkim store during my trip to Japan," confirming the brand's global popularity.

During the episode, Park Myung-soo discovers unexpected similarities with Kim Dain. When Kim shares her experience of personally promoting her brand at a department store pop-up event, saying, "I don't care about others' opinions as long as my company succeeds," Park enthusiastically responds, "That's just like me," and they share a high-five. When Kim mentions she didn't attend college, Park humorously relates, "I didn't go to college either," creating a moment of shared understanding.

Upon seeing the Trimage's breathtaking view, Jeon Hyun-moo remarks, "That's the place," expressing his regret. It turns out Jeon had almost signed a contract for the apartment but decided against it. He humorously laments, "After I backed out, the price increased tenfold. If I had bought it, I might have had to cut down on three TV shows," eliciting laughter.
