Seo In-young Reflects on Her Past Spending Habits and Earnings During Her Heyday

Singer Seo In-young recently opened up about the earnings she made during her peak years.

On October 18, tvN's variety show 'You Quiz on the Block' released a preview video featuring Seo In-young on their official YouTube channel.

The video reveals behind-the-scenes stories from the time when she gained massive popularity with her hit 'Cinderella'.

In the video, Seo In-young reflects on her spending habits, admitting, "Looking back, I was a person with a poor mindset." She surprised viewers by saying, "I would shop without even trying on clothes, just saying 'Give me everything from here to there.'"

MC Yoo Jae-suk expressed his surprise, to which Seo In-young explained, "Isn't it shown in the 'Cinderella' music video? I was swiping my card enthusiastically. That was the real me."

She also admitted to lacking financial sense, recalling, "I thought money was easy to come by and that I would keep earning it." She shared a humorous anecdote, "My dad showed me the ledger and said, 'You've earned 10 billion won, after taxes.' When I asked where the money went, he said, 'You spent it!'"

Reflecting on her past, Seo In-young expressed regret, saying, "I really had no sense. My dad said, 'If you had bought buildings with that money, you could have owned three at the time.' I couldn't believe how irresponsible I was."

Meanwhile, the episode of 'You Quiz on the Block' featuring Seo In-young will air on October 22 at 8:45 PM.
