Hilarious Mishaps and Heartwarming Reunions on 'SeokSam Play Season 1'

Comedian Ji Seok-jin's attempt to embezzle funds on 'SeokSam Play Season 1' ends in laughter.

On the October 18th episode of TV CHOSUN's 'SeokSam Play Season 1', the SeokSam family, including Ji Seok-jin, Jeon So-min, Lee Sang-yeob, and Lee Mi-joo, embarked on a chaotic journey in Mokpo, South Jeolla Province, with 'Mr. Trot 3' stars Kim Yong-bin, Cheon Rok-dam, and Nam Seung-min.

The SeokSam family split into two teams: the 'Troublemaker Brothers' Ji Seok-jin and Lee Sang-yeob, and the 'Soju Sisters' Jeon So-min and Lee Mi-joo, as they began a creator project. During the budget allocation, Lee Mi-joo caught Ji Seok-jin trying to pocket some funds, leading to a humorous confrontation. Lee Mi-joo quipped, "Why are you skimming?" bringing laughter to the scene.

Later, the Troublemaker Brothers arranged a surprise meeting via video call with Kim Yong-bin, Cheon Rok-dam, and Nam Seung-min at the Yudal Mountain Spring Festival. Ji Seok-jin shared a warm hug with Cheon Rok-dam, whom he hadn't seen in 20 years, exclaiming, "You haven't changed a bit." The overwhelming reaction to Kim Yong-bin left Ji Seok-jin and Lee Sang-yeob feeling a bit overshadowed, as they remarked, "The atmosphere is so different from when we arrived."

The episode also revealed the YouTube subscriber counts of the 'Mr. Trot 3' members. Kim Yong-bin's channel surpassed 40,000 subscribers within a week, prompting Lee Sang-yeob to jokingly lament, "Am I the only one failing?" which sent the set into fits of laughter.

During a meal, the members bonded over nostalgic memories. Lee Sang-yeob expressed his affection for Cheon Rok-dam, saying, "You were responsible for my mini homepage," while Kim Yong-bin asked Nam Seung-min if he knew about mini homepages. Nam Seung-min humorously replied, "I'm not from that era," drawing laughs. When the topic of the song 'Don't Make Me Cry' came up, Kim Yong-bin admitted, "I don't know many ballads, but I know this one," and sang along, lifting the mood.

The trip concluded with a dice game to determine the budget. Under the tense rule of 'divide for even, multiply for odd', Nam Seung-min rolled a 4. Despite Lee Sang-yeob and Lee Mi-joo's attempt to destroy evidence by kicking the dice, a drone camera captured everything, causing the budget to plummet to 473,275 won. As Nam Seung-min froze in shock, the members teased him, saying, "You might have to suck your thumb," but also comforted him with, "You can earn it back next week," ending the episode on a warm note.
